July 22, 2010:
The LWVCA Board is pleased to announce that Beth Kochheiser is the new Executive Director of the League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area.
Beth comes to the League with experience in the non-profit and volunteer sector. Previously she was Associate VP of the Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services Foundation and Executive Director of the Cincinnati Area Senior Services, Inc. She participated in the Leadership Cincinnati Class XXIII, 1999-2000 and has volunteered for Greater Cincinnati Foundation Women's Fund Community Leaders, Community Advisory Board of WCET, Channel 48 and Board of Trustees of the Creative Aging Cincinnati. She has a B.A. from Denison University, Granville, Ohio and a M.P.A. in Non-Profit Management from the University of Denver, School of Business and Public Management.
The new position of Executive Director was made possible by an generous, anonymous grant in trust from a recently deceased LWVCA member.
Please join us in welcoming Beth to the League!
Those with an interest in affordable housing in our area will want to check the recently-released State of Affordable Housing in Hamilton County: The Crisis Report. The League was a member of the AHA Coalition that put this report together.
